Hundreds of protesters are expected to gather outside of the new tax-funded Little Caesars Arena this evening to rally against the kickoff of a six-concert Kid Rock blitz, but they will have company.

Some white nationalists, chanting “blood and soil,” carried shields emblazoned with the Red Wings logo during a large rally in Virginia.
Many black and Latino residents are asking billionaire Dan Gilbert and his company today, “Is this really how you see Detroit?”
Protesters said no one should lead a city after mocking older women, people with disabilities and African Americans.
All six recall petitions filed against Warren Mayor Jim Fouts have been rejected.
The riot led to the creation of the first full-time police force in Detroit and was considered at the time to be the bloodiest day in the city’s history.
