Billionaire Ambassador Bridge owner Matty Moroun and three of his family members each donated the maximum $6,800 donation to Wayne County executive candidate Warren Evans.
The presumed frontrunner in Tuesday’s primary election collected a combined $27,200 from Moroun, his wife Nora, son Matthew and daughter-in-law Lindsay.
The family donations accounted for 6% of Evans’ $452,000 in contributions, as of July 20, according to campaign finance records.
