A Donal Trump supporter in Allen Park is accused of pointing a gun at six children whom he suspected of damaging his pro-Trump lawn sign.
Allen Park police arrived at the home of 56-year-old Michael Kubek and discovered the man was “cursing and yelling” at the children Saturday.
“He was using very profane language,” a neighbor told Fox 2. “Real bad language.”
Kobek called police to report the vandalism and said the children were fleeing, but he acknowledged he didn’t witness who destroyed the sign, which read, “Trump Pence Make America Great Again.”
He claimed his gun wasn’t loaded and that he just “wanted to scare the kids” with the weapon, the News-Herald reported.
Kobek was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and is free on bond.
He is expected to appear in court in December.
