Glimpse inside: Punch Bowl Social offers new nightlife experience in Detroit

There’s nothing like it in metro Detroit – four bars, ping pong tables, arcade games, bowling lanes and enough space for 1,000 people – and it’s all at the bottom of the modern, graffiti-splashed Z Garage downtown.

Since opening its doors last month, the Punch Bowl Social has been packed with a growingly diverse crowd. There’s a full menu of food and craft brews.

Punch Bowl Social is leasing space from billionaire developer Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock Real Estate.
