Update: Both burn victims later died.
Detroit firefighters believe someone was set afire inside a west-side house Thursday evening during a domestic dispute.
Firefighters were called to a house fire at 4776 Sringwells at 9:32 p.m. When they arrived, they found two severely burned victims and called for two ambulances.
The first ambulance arrived about 12 minutes later.
“We have a domestic dispute,” Chief 7 told dispatchers. “We believe one of the victims was purposely set on fire.”
Police and an arson investigator were also called to the scene.
The condition of the victims wasn’t immediately clear. Details were still sketchy Thursday night.
