Explosion suspected after Detroit house flattened

A two-story house in Detroit was flattened Monday Morning by what firefighters believe was a natural gas explosion.

DTE Energy and Michigan Consumers Energy were called to the scene.

Firefighters said they could hear the hissing of an open gas line.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the house was occupied or whether anyone was injured.
