The victim shot the 17-year-old suspect after he pulled out a gun and announced a robbery.
It’s unclear who pulled the trigger first.
Police arrested the wounded suspect at the scene.
Police said the victim had a concealed pistol license and was listed in temporary serious condition.
The Craigslist robbery was just the latest in Metro Detroit. Over the summer, a Craigslist robber in Warren was shot.
