If you believe Mayor Dave Bing and Gov. Rick Snyder’s warnings, the city of Detroit may grind to a halt by week’s end, shutting down buses, trash pickup and government offices.
The mayor is expected to warn city council this morning that an internal lawsuit challenging broad and imposing state oversight could jeopardize an agreement with Gov. Rick Snyder for emergency financial aid and steep budget cuts.
