Update: Jimmy Mels was fired from his job after this story appeared.

A Shelby Township man and Donald Trump supporter posted a photo on Facebook of President Obama hanging from a noose and said “lets get to work and hang these traitors.”

Jimmy Mels, a veteran, declined to comment on the post, which he later deleted. In a followup post, he wrote, “Hey thank you for the warning that you were going to turn me into the Facebook police.”

He added: “No bitches in my house.”

Mels’ employer, Espas Inc., was not amused and said human resources is investigating.

“He will be dealt with,” Phil Pertner, vice president of Espas Inc. in Troy, told Motor City Muckraker. “I have numerous cultures working here. There is no tolerance for this stuff.”

In the original Facebook post above a photo of President Obama hanging from a tree, Mels wrote, “Congratulations to all that supported TRUMP. You my friends are winners. Now lets get to work and hang these traitors.
