Flint taxpayers are on the hook for the growing legal fees of the former emergency manager who failed to protect residents from the drinking water crisis.
Congressional members expressed outrage Tuesday over the grave mishandling of the Flint water crisis, saying government at all levels failed residents.
The news comes on the same day the FBI confirmed it was investigating officials’ role in the Flint water crisis.
Even the state Treasury warned against using a new pipeline that ultimately led to a decision to use the Flint River.
