The 108-year-old Hotel Charlevoix, which stood vacant in downtown Detroit for nearly three decades, was demolished this morning.

Abandoned Hotel Charlevoix may be leveled this year after judge orders demolition

The ruling comes six months after the Detroit Historic Commission declined Sachs’ request to demolish the building.
