Ice accumulated a fire gutted an abandoned apartment building in Detroit Saturday morning.
If there’s any journalist in Detroit with access to dead politicians, it’s Charlie LeDuff.
The boulevard is lined with abandoned buildings and homes, new public housing and a few schools and churches.
Many Detroiters say LeDuff went too far in a segment that aired Friday, and some are calling for his termination.
“Oh, hell no, Mike Duggan,” someone says in the video.
With a bit of courage and muscle, we ascended the building, often using a precariously hanging fire escape, getting a rare glimpse of the interior.
Katsu has been seen painting on a homeless man in New York City, and brazenly tagged the side of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
On the east side, an abandoned dollar store and vacant house along Chene also were targeted with the same erratic paint patterns, presumably from a fire extinguisher packed with paint.
Thieves stole mausoleum doors, gates, stained glass windows, marble and other contents. About 12 mausoleum were ransacked.
