“I have to feed my wife and kids,” Kasinec said after the fire. “We’re taking major pay cuts, and I can’t afford it.”
At 11 p.m., firefighters were inside the mansion attacking the flames.
The Heidelberg Project raised more than $50,000 late last year for security.
The house was the sixth to burn down at the world-famous art installation since November.
Two men suspected of raping a 19-year-old woman at the Jason Manor Apartments before the party are in custody.
