Two separate anti-Donald Trump rallies broke out in Detroit Wednesday evening as more than 100 people took to the streets, chanting “Not our president.”
And this was just the beginning of what is expected to be many anti-Trump rallies in the coming weeks.
One protest broke out in downtown Detroit as more than 100 people marched on the streets, ignoring police commands to stop blocking traffic. A second rally began in Midtown and marched south on Woodward, also blocking traffic.

There was no violence or arrests.
Protesters are outraged that Trump, who has insulted countless people and groups, will take his intolerance to the White House, where he will control the FBI, ATF, DEA, CIA, Homeland Security and other federal agencies. Trump has run a campaign based on fear, intolerance and division.
