Update: Charles Pugh was arrested this morning in New York City.
Former Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh is accused of having sex with another minor.
This time, prosecutors said Pugh was 32 when he sexually abused a 14-year-old boy while he was a morning anchor for Fox 2 in 2003. A warrant was issued for his arrest on six counts of criminal sexual conduct, Fox 2 first reported.
A fugitive apprehension team is searching for Pugh, who authorities believe lives in New York City.
Details of the allegations weren’t immediately available.
In June 2013, Pugh abandoned his council seat and fled Detroit after a mother claimed he had preyed on her 17-year-old son, lavished him with gifts and sent sexually explicit text messages. Pugh also paid the teenager to take a nude video of himself.
In November 2015, a jury awarded the victim $250,000 in a civil case. Pugh was not criminally charged.
