A massive, exposed sinkhole is posing a serious danger to motorists, bikers and pedestrians on Detroit’s east side.
The hole is about 6-feet deep and includes a tunnel that runs beneath the ground at Grandy and Alexandrine. It’s unclear when the hole emerged or what caused it.
There are no orange cones or yellow tape to warn people about the hole.
Motor City Muckraker notified the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) of the hole this afternoon. DWSD spokesman Bryan Peckinpaugh said the city will investigate the cause and cordon off the area so no one is injured. Buy zoloft online
“We will make sure the hole is secured ASAP for the safety of residents,” Peckinpaugh said.
