Detroit firefighters found the bodies of a man and woman in their east side home early this morning after it appears someone through an unknown accelerant through the first-floor window.
Firefighters were called to a burning house at Hoyt and Manning at 2:21 a.m.
“We have a report of civilians possibly trapped in the dwelling,” a dispatchers warned.
Firefighters also found an injured person who was rushed to the hospital in serious condition shortly after they arrived at 2:25 a.m.
At least 32 people have died in fires so far this year.
Police were called to the house Sunday night for an altercation.
The bodies were found upstairs at 2:23 a.m. and were removed on stretchers by EMS workers.
The victims were in their 20s, fire officials said.
Firefighters also called for police because of an “irate citizen.”
