Update: 11:30 p.m.
Gunfire erupted outside of a barber shop in Detroit Wednesday evening, killing at least two people and injuring another eight.
At least one gunman opened fire on people who were playing dice in the barber shop at about 6:15 p.m. on the 5100 block of 7 Mile Road between Mound and Ryan, police said.
Police Chief James Craig said the barber shop was known for gambling, but it wasn’t immediately whether that was a motive.
The two people who were killed were still in the barbershop.
