Few streets are as decimated by abandonment as Louisiana, a short, crumbling road on Detroit east-side.
Tires, garbage bags and dead trees litter both sides of the street where dozens of houses once stood.
So it’s no surprise someone dumped a body there.
Detroit police said they were alerted to the body at 7:20 p.m. today at the 100 block of Lousiana. What they found was a badly decomposed body.
The victim is believed to be in her 20s or 30s.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
Police are investigating.
