A Michigan man is in deep trouble after hurling a drug-stuffed football into the yard of a state prison in Jackson.

Authorities say Christen Moore’s toss fell short of the exercise yard Sunday, catching the attention of officials at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility.

The football was stuffed with heroin, marijuana, tobacco and cell phones intended for inmates, prison officials said.

A corrections officer spotted the 32-year-old and threatened him with a Taser before arresting him.

Moore faces charges of smuggling, trespassing on prison property and possession of illegal drugs with intent to deliver.

Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
