But it won’t be an easy task.

Organizers have 60 days to collect at least 789,133 valid signatures.

Beginning Sunday, the petitions will be circulated at churches and other areas across the state.

The Board of State Canvassers approved the recall petition, which calls for removing Snyder based on his own statement during the State of the State address in which he took responsibility for the crisis, which resulted in thousands of people being poisoned by elevated levels of lead and other contaminates.

Organizers are training volunteers to gather the signatures at 7729 Rosa Parks. Training will continue at 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on every day but Sunday.
