Gunman carjacks, abducts elderly women from Motor City Casino garage

Two elderly women were carjacked and abducted after they were leaving the Motor City Casino near Detroit’s downtown on Thursday morning.

Police said a gunman forced the women into their PT Cruiser, which was parked in the casino’s parking garage, and demanded they drive away with him in the car at 5:30 a.m.   

The gunman eventually let the women out of the car and did not physically harm them before speeding off with the red PT Cruiser, with a license plate number, AEW 319.

Police are urging anyone with information to call them at 313-267-4600.
