Popular marijuana dispensary set afire in Detroit

Marijuana dispesnary

A popular marijuana dispensary in Detroit would have gone up in smoke if not for the quick response of firefighters late Saturday night.

An arsonist doused the roof of Conant Releaf with gas and set it ablaze shortly before midnight. The fire was out within 13 minutes of firefighters getting the call at 19735 Conant just south of E. Outer Dr.

Damage was confined to the roof, where a gas can was found.

The owner said the building had plenty of surveillance cameras that should have captured the suspect in the act.

It wasn’t clear early Sunday morning whether the footage was helpful.

Conant Relief sells a variety of medical cannabis and treats, from Purple Alien OG to Super Fly Suckers.
