The presumed frontrunner in Tuesday’s primary election collected a combined $27,200 from Moroun, his wife Nora, son Matthew and daughter-in-law Lindsay.
The family donations accounted for 6% of Evans’ $452,000 in contributions, as of July 20, according to campaign finance records.
Evans, who is supported by Mayor Mike Duggan, is trying to unseat incumbent County Executive Robert Ficano. Also running are Bill Wild and Phil Cavanaugh.
The election is Tuesday. Polls show Evans with a strong lead.
Last year, Moroun supported Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon for Detroit mayor.
