Photos: Costumed revelers chase away evil Nain Rouge in Detroit Sunday

The Nain Rouge, a mythological red dwarf bent on destroying Detroit, was chased out of town by thousands of revelers during Sunday’s annual Marche Du Nain Rouge

The dwarf and his fire-breathing dragon led a parade of thousands of costume-wearing revelers down the Cass Corridor to the Masonic Temple.

The parade started at 1 p.m.
