A 4-year-old girl fatally shot her 4-year-old cousin Thursday while they watched TV in a west-side house, police said.
Detroit police said the girl found a long gun underneath a bed and shot her male cousin at the house on Tuxedo, near W. Davison and John C. Lodge Freeway, where police were still investigating this evening.
A 5-year-old also was watching TV at the home.
One adult was home, but no parents were.
The boy was pronounced dead after being rushed to Henry Ford Hospital.
Police are investigating to determine whether charges are warranted.
