GOP leader: Detroiters shuttled from barber shops to vote multiple times

An influential leader of the Republican National Committee told tea party members that Detroiters are whisked from pool halls and barbershops and “bused from precinct to precinct where they vote multiple times.”

Ron Weiser, finance chairman of the RNC, also alleged that Detroit is so dangerous that it’s risky to monitor elections.

“If you’re not from Detroit, where those pool halls and barber shops are, you are not going to be going at 6:30 a.m. in November with out a sidearm,” Weiser, the former Michigan GOP chairman, was caught on video telling a crowd at a tea party meeting in August in Milford.

The video was posted on YouTube.
